It’s been more than 2 years since I reviewed all the providers for forex VPS. I constantly examine the VPS providers and update my reviews not only in regard to the changes that the providers make but also based on the feedback I get from the people who read my reviews and use the VPS services that I’ve suggested, I appreciate that by the way!

Well, I haven’t heard a single complaint so far about MyForexVPS, and believe me people are brutal if they don’t like a service.

Anyway, given all that let’s see how well MYForexVPS is at the features they offer in 2025.

Location and Latency

Choosing a correct location can make a tangible difference since it can decrease or increase your latency and affect your trading performance especially if you use a sensitive strategy or EA.

MyForexVPS provides its VPS from three different locations; Amsterdam, New York, and London. The servers of almost all forex brokers are either in the US or the UK so you probably wouldn’t have any problem regarding the latency.

That said, MyForexVPS has a handy tool that helps you pick the right location for your VPS. From the menu on their website go to “ping” and enter the IP address of your broker to see the latency of it to the different locations of MyForexVPS’s servers. If you don’t know the IP address of your broker you can either ask your broker or check out the Latency to Forex brokers list.

You can see the difference when picking a right or wrong location. For example, if your broker is Hotforex and you choose the USA as the location, you get 80 ms latency while for Amsterdam servers, it’s only 1 ms. Therefore, the correct choice for Hotforex broker is a VPS server located in Amsterdam.

Uptime

Disconnection can cause trading problems especially if your strategy is time-sensitive such as high-frequency trading strategies or EAs and/or scalping. Downtimes can be detrimental to the result of these kinds of strategies. That’s why one of the main factors you need to consider when picking an EA is Uptime.

MyForexVPS claims to guarantee you a 99.99% uptime and they’ve stated that it’s been constantly this way since 2012. Well, since I haven’t received any complaints about this, I give them the benefit of the doubt and accept their promise.

DDoS Protection

Since DDoS attacks can cause downtime and affect trading strategies, as mentioned above, I consider this factor when reviewing VPS providers.

According to the conversation I had with MyForexVPS, they include 1 GBps DDoS Protection which is enough for forex trading purposes.

Customer Service

For assessing the customer service, I always contact them through all the contact info they’ve provided to see how they reply and how fast they do that.

I did that for MyForexVPS as well. The online chat is active 24/5 but for weekends you have to contact them via email if you encounter any problems with your VPS service.

The online chat was pretty helpful and they answered all my questions. They also have “Knowledge Base” and “FAQ” sections where you can find the answer to most of your questions especially if you’re new to using VPS.

Since traders have different strategies and/or run a different number of Metatraders on a VPS therefore they need a different amount of resources as well. VPS providers know that very well so they design various plans to serve all types of customers and MyForexVPS has done that too.

1. SOLO

This plan is designed for the traders who need the minimum amount of resources. If you just want to use a VPS to decrease latency and have a more stable connection or you only intend to run 1 Metatrader or 2 at the most, although their recommendation is 1 to 3, this plan will be probably suitable for you.

It gives you a 1-core CPU and 2 GB RAM. It also provides SSD hard drive which is far better and faster than HDD (Remember to always use VPS with SSD storage space because HDD is a disaster)

2. PRO

If you want to run more MT4/MT5 and/or EAs, you need more resources and the PRO plan might be the right choice for you. It gives you more hard space and higher RAM but still you get a 1-Core CPU so it might not for you if you decide to run several Metatraders. Of course, you can test it first and if you encounter any problems then you can upgrade.

3. XPERT

With a 2-core CPU (4600 MHz) and a 4 GB RAM you’ll probably be good to go if you run several Metatraders and/or EAs. Their recommendation for this plan is up to 15 terminals; however my experience shows you might get lagging problems if you use more than 7 to 8.

 Of course, it also depends on your computer’s resources, the higher resource your PC/laptop has the lower you need from your VPS.

4. GURU

You probably won’t have any problems if you pick the GURU plan. With a 3-Core CPU and 6 MB of RAM, you can easily run 10 to 15 MT4/MT5 without crashing. If you’re a professional EA user who wants to run multiple EAs simultaneously you should go with this plan and save yourself from future catastrophes.

Refund Policy

If you decide to take your money back for any reason, you have 5 days to do so. After 5 days you can cancel but can’t ask for a refund. It’s a good option especially for a VPS service because you have some time to test and examine the performance of the service and either choose the plan fit for your need or cancel in case you’re not satisfied.

The Bottom Line

There are lots of VPS providers out there but not all of them give you an up-to-par service. MyForexVPS is one of the VPS providers designed for forex traders that gives you a standard service, from the quality of their VPS performance to their customer service.
